West Coast Choppers and Orange County Choppers are just a few of the names you will see and hear from as you cruise thru the streets of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Bike Week. Daytona Bike Week is huge and a very long drive down the east coast, Sturgis also is the same but way out of the way for all of us. Myrtle Beach is a beautiful city rich in history and great in attitude. The people of South Caroline take great pride in their city on the water and it shows in the beauty and cleanliness of Myrtle Beach.
It’s December 25 and you are getting all those great gifts for the bike, maybe even a set of new pipes or some extra chrome. It’s not like you can just install the pipes and take a ride out in your neighborhood, there is 3 feet of snow and its 5 below zero outside. Daytona has become so expensive that only the high rollers can afford the room and the trip there. So what do you do? Why not take those extra months and work on your bike and get it perfect for a cruise down the beach side area of Myrtle Beach?
The cruising around the Myrtle Beach area is like none other. There are beautiful ocean cruises and long rides out to Charleston for a great dinner and maybe even a moonlight river cruise. Myrtle Beach has so many things to do and experience. If the weather is to hot to cruise the bike up and down the beach maybe you could conceder a ocean fishing trip or maybe even a stop off at the water and race park. There is even a NASCAR track in the Myrtle Beach area that the Nascar Nationwide series goes to race at. What about a stop by at the Hard Rock in Myrtle Beach, or maybe even Ripley’s Aquarium the best aquarium in the southeast.
When you see all the big name bike companies and their owners in Myrtle Beach this year, you will know why, it’s because Myrtle Beach is possibly the best Bike Week in the US. The weather is always beautiful and warm; there is more than enough to do for Dad to ride all day and Mom to shop and the kids to play at the parks. Myrtle Beach was voted one of the United States top ten destinations to attend Bike Week, and is constantly growing every year. Myrtle Beach is looking for more people likes you to come enjoy their city and have a blast while seeing the coast on your bike.
